SONICO

In just a few years of existence, SONICO has become one of the most interesting contemporary tango ensembles, performing in several festivals and concert halls through Europe and Latin America such as: Brussels Jazz Flagey (Belgium), Usina del Arte (Argentina), Tarbes Tango (France) and the Lateinamerikawoche Nürnberg (Germany). SONICO is particularly keen to highlight the little-known composer-bandoneonist-tango innovator Eduardo Rovira, but equally plays works by other tango composers.

Orquesta Tanguedia

Founded in 1993 by Gwen Cresens, Orquesta Tanguedia is a tango orchestra that plays with the boundaries between tango and chanson. The musicians, who all have a passion for tango nuevo, have worked together with various great artists such as Raymond van het Groenewoud, Kommil Foo, Boudewijn de Groot and Arno and you could already see them at work in De Roma, Ancienne Belgique and Capitole Gent, among others. They have an extensive discography with their latest album Georgina (2015).
