Wanted: musicians for the Klarafestival BOX
The smallest concert hall in the world is back!
2023 will see the sixth edition of Klarafestival BOX! From 20 February to 8 March inclusive, the smallest concert hall in the world will be travelling to three locations in Brussels. During intimate mini-concerts, up-and-coming musicians will be giving it their all. And you can be one of those musicians!
PRACTICAL
We are looking for ensembles or musicians (from soloists to octets) who want to play mini-concerts in our Klarafestival BOX. The concerts take place from 20 February to 8 March 2023 inclusive, daily with a first time slot from 11.30am to 2.30pm and a second time slot from 4pm to 7pm. During each time slot, one ensemble or musician can perform the 11 mini-concerts of 15 minutes each. Per session, we can welcome three to five people from the audience to the BOX.
Each musician receives a fee of EUR 130 (all-inclusive) per time slot. Payments can only be made by invoice, KVR or interim (SBK). We expect a musical level from each musician that corresponds to the Klarafestival standard.
Unfortunately, musicians who want to sell CDs can not do so in the BOX. We are not allowed to perform commercial activities in the public space.
