From 10 to 26 March 2023, Belgium's largest classical music festival takes place once again in the most beautiful venues in Brussels. To get a glimpse of our 2023 edition, we present a few musical highlights that you definitely shouldn't miss.

No other than our festival artist Barbara Hannigan will open Klarafestival 2023 together with the London Symphony Orchestra. While swinging the baton, she will also sing the heavenly soprano solo in Mahler's Fourth Symphony.
Fans of French chanson are in for a treat with the unique encounter between four-time Grammy Award-winner Angélique Kidjo and the delicate playing of pianist Alexandre Tharaud. And tenor Ian Bostridge and jazz legend Brad Mehldau share their mutual love for Schumann's moving Dichterliebe.
A long awaited Belgian premiere is Jóhan Jóhannson's captivating film Last & First Men with live music played by Brussels Philharmonic. Renowned pianist Víkingur Ólafsson will make for the perfect closing concert with Edvard Grieg's notoriously difficult Piano Concerto alongside the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
