Brussels Central Station is 10 minutes' walk from La Monnaie opera house.
There are various underground stops as well as tram and bus stops at the De Brouckèreplein, which is situated close to the Place de la Monnaie. The De Brouckère underground station has connections with lines 1 and 5, and there is an underground tram stop which is also a stop for lines 3, 4, 31, 32, 33.
Bus numbers 29, 38, 46, 47, 63, 66, 71, 86, 88 all stop at the De Brouckère bus station. Bus numbers 48, 95 stop at the Beurs which is also within walking distance of La Monnaie.
By car
Please note: unlawfully parked cars are nearly always towed away by the police!
Theatregoers are advised to park their vehicle in one of two car parks situated in the vicinity of La Monnaie (the 'Ecuyer' and 'Monnaie' car parks).* Parking Ecuyer (24/24) : entrance rue de l'Ecuyer* Parking Monnaie (until 01:00 am) : entrance rue Fossé-aux-Loups
Special rates are offered to the La Monnaie audience members (€5, from 6 pm Monday to Saturday and on Sunday all day) in the ‘Ecuyer’ and ‘Monnaie’ car parks.
You can have your car-park ticket validated in the entrance hall during the interval and at the end of the performance.
