Aldo Ciccolini piano
W.A. Mozart Sonata in A Major (K 331)
W.A. Mozart Sonata in B-flat Major (K 333)
C. Debussy Préludes, 1° Cahier
Concertpartner:

One of the world’s great pianists, the 84-year-old Italian Aldo Ciccolini transcends his age with thrilling interpretations of everyone from Mussorgsky to Satie whose complete works he has recorded. Ciccolini – one of the rare pianists still alive to have worked with Wilhelm Furtwängler – was very much behind the Satie revival. Tonight he’ll be playing two Mozart sonatas - in D Major and B Major, as well as the first book of préludes by Claude Debussy.
The concert by pianist Aldo Ciccolini is a benefit performance in support of the nature conservation organization WWF. WWF Belgium has therefore joined forces with the Festival van Vlaanderen Brussels. The Festival donates 10 percent of its ticket revenues to the WWF bonobo project in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
